Oakville Registered Massage Therapists

As a natural extension of her interest in sports and rehabilitation, Silvia has chosen Massage Therapy in Oakivlle as her career path in the field of health care. After graduating with Honours from Trillium College in Burlington she became registered with College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.She looks forward to applying her knowledge to help others in achieving and maintaining an optimal state of health and fitness.

In her massage therapy training she participated in outreach programs that included: Oakville hospital, neuro clinic where she treated clients with Multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s as well as local sport tournaments such as judo, hockey, and weight lifting.

She is trained in Swedish massage including advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep tissue work, pregnancy massage, myofascial  techniques and joint play.

Jessica is both a Massage Therapist, and an Athletic Therapist. After completing a Kinesiology degree at York University and an Athletic Therapy degree from Sheridan College, she decided to pursue further education in Massage Therapy at Ontario College of Health and Technology. She was wishing to advance the skills and tools she developed through her education and previous experiences.

Jessica has a great understanding of numerous injuries and uses tools from her multidisciplinary background to incorporate the best techniques into her therapeutic approach to massage and athletic therapy. She has been trained in various Swedish massage techniques, including deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, myofascial release techniques and joint play. Jessica has been very active throughout her life, involved in various sports and today she continues to participate regularly in yoga, horseback riding and snowboarding during the winter months.
