Vinaya Chitgopkar has been a practising physiotherapist for the last 25 years. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Masters degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Mumbai, India in 1998 .Since then, she has worked in numerous hospitals and out patient clinics. She has treated both musculoskeletal and neurological patient including ones with sports injuries.

Vinaya has worked as a Senior Physiotherapist with the National Health Service, United Kingdom where she has been an educator and mentor for physiotherapy students from University of York and London. She has worked in the capacity of an Associate Professor for students of Mumbai and Pune University.

Vinaya specializes in the management of musculoskeletal disorders including sports injuries, work related injuries, chronic pain and also neurological disorders like Stroke and Parkinson’s disease.

Her expertise lies in manual therapy techniques, myofascial release, motor control techniques and sports rehabilitation. She has special interest in Concussion management and Acupuncture. She intends to takes courses related to these in order to upgrade her skills.

In her free time , Vinaya enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys walking.
